The beam clamp is positioned on the flange—for example, of an HEP beam—and secured using an eye bolt. Tightening the bolt securely clamps the clamp against the surface of the steel beam. The net’s edge rope is inserted between the beam flange and the clamp and secured during installation. To ensure there is sufficient space for the edge rope, the beam thickness should not exceed 32 mm.
