Primer S for Stone 300 ml
Product number:
35030
Product information "Primer S for Stone 300 ml"
Product:
Colourless to light yellow, transparent and low-viscosity adhesion promoters of EVT sealants
on pore-open and absorbent substrates (e.g. concrete, masonry, plaster, etc.)
as well as pore-closed substrates, such as some plastics.
Applications:
To improve the adhesion of silicone and hybrid sealants to the various material surfaces. The EVT primer table can be found for which surface/sealant combinations a primer insert is recommended. Since in practice there are very different material surfaces, these are suggestions. Detention tests are recommended for control. The company EVT-Anwendungstechnik carries out these tests free of charge on request (test duration: 2 weeks).
Processing:
Degrease pore-closed surfaces with EVT Special Cleaner or EVT Soft Cleaner. In the case of plastics and coatings, care must be taken to ensure that the cleaner used does not dissolve the surface. Remove loose components from porous, mineral surfaces. If necessary, clean with oil-free compressed air. Before applying primers, remove cement sludge, formwork oil, coatings/impregnations if necessary. During renovation work, the old sealant or paint residues must be removed. Please note that primers are not degreasing agents or cleaners. Use the brush to soften the joint flanks of porous substrates, and a second application may be necessary for very absorbent substrates, such as aerated concrete. For non-absorbent surfaces, avoid a thick application. The container must be closed well again after each removal so that prolonged contact with humidity is avoided. The reaction with water makes the primer inactive and can gel. In this case, it must no longer be used, even if it partially liquefies again by stirring. The processing temperature must be +5°C to +40°C.
Flash-off time:
30 minutes - the specified flash-off time refers to the indoor climate, i.e. 23°C and 50% relative humidity. It can be considerably longer at lower temperatures, and the time is shortened at higher temperatures. Apply sealant within 4 hours. Beyond this period, there is a risk that the surface will be contaminated or that its responsiveness will be reduced by the influence of humidity.
Delivery form:
Storage:
Can be stored in a cool and dry place for at least 12 months.
