Product:
Solvent-free, moisture-curing 1-component polyurethane-based adhesive. Curing takes place by reaction with humidity and by moisture from the bonded materials.
Application:
Suitable for waterproof bonding of wood-based materials, stone, ceramics, concrete, polystyrene and various metals (except bare aluminium, nickel, chrome in the colour beige). Meets stress group D4 for wood/wood gluing in accordance with EN 204. Good adhesion even on non-absorbent surfaces. Can be used for gluing floor and wall panels to floors, parquet, wood and metal. Suitable for combination bonding of different materials. For adhesive cases where filling and sealing properties are also important. In the case of metal bonding with the effect of moisture (outdoor area), these must be sealed and corrosion protection must be applied to absorbent substrates (e.g. paint).
Processing:
The adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry, release agent-free and load-bearing. The EVT Power Klebfix is applied in the shape of a bead or with a notched trowel. The EVT Power Klebfix reacts in combination with humidity. During this reaction, carbon dioxide develops and the glue foams up easily. It is therefore recommended to fix, press or weigh down the components.
After applying the adhesive, assemble components within 5 or 10 minutes and press them together. Keep the components to be glued in place for about two to three hours. Reaction time depends on temperature as well as air and substrate humidity. The final strength of the bonding is achieved only after several days.
