Product information "ES Complete with Ceramic Insulators made of Cordierite and 1.5 m long Rods"
Specifications:
Cover width: 80 mm to 120 mm
Rod diameter: 2 mm
Material: Beige insulators made of steatite UV resistant, rods made of 1.4301 stainless steel
10 m ES system consists of:
20 Steatite Insulators UV Resistant
21 m stainless steel poles / 14 pieces of 1.5 m
15 stainless steel springs
2 pcs Sleeves 5 x 7 made of stainless steel
2 pcs 3 x 30 stainless steel sleeves
1 pc. Sleeves 3 x 10 stainless steel
Assembly:
At least 2 days should be allowed for installation. Binding time of the flexible silicone adhesive (acid-free) approx. 12 to 24 hours, depending on the weather.
Day 1:
Attachment of ceramic insulators. Clean the substrate beforehand so that it is free of grease and dust (pre-treat the substrate with primer if necessary). Then the insulators are glued at a distance of approx. 50 cm (corresponds to approx. 2 pieces per metre).
Day 2:
Pulling and connecting the stainless steel rods as well as the connection to the power surge generator. Connections of the rods with springs only put approx. 1/2 of the entire spring on the rod (approx. 50% air) so that the system can react to tension and pressure for thermal reasons. Connections at the corner areas only use springs. In front of a corner area, a rigid connection must be mounted between the 2 last insulators, i.e. connecting sleeve instead of spring (otherwise too unstable). For longer areas to be protected (e.g. attics or continuous ledges), expansion loops (with high insulation cables) must be placed at intervals of approx. 10m. At the first hump, the poles must be firmly fixed so that they can expand to the left or right, depending on the situation. Different positions of the surfaces to be protected must be connected with a high-insulation cable (25 KV). The power surge generator must be connected on site (230 V / 14 A socket, connect residual current circuit breaker with max. 30mA residual current, perfect grounding) and can be connected to the system as required. The connection to the system is made exclusively with the high-insulation cable (25 KV). We recommend connecting the live area alternately at the front, and the ground-carrying area at the back (1st phase plus, 2nd phase minus). In principle, a closed circuit is not necessary (star-shaped).
Application:
Window sill, cornice, parapet, ridge, window roofing, frieze, railing, burr, cornice, blind boxes, canopies, T-beams
