Installation Notes / Tips:
- pay attention to the temperatures! No sticking to warm/hot modules. Therefore, if possible, start in the early hours of the morning (especially in the summer, before the panels heat up)
- before gluing, all surfaces should be cleaned. Only use alcohol-based cleaners or primers (surface should be free of dust and grease, no solvent!)
- To ensure good adhesion, the entire surface should be glued (do not use the glue sparingly), in addition, the profiles can be roughened with a metal brush or sandpaper. With a cartridge, up to 12 m should be glued over the entire surface (no more!), and the glue should also come out on the side and over the holes. After gluing, a 2 mm thick adhesive layer should still remain between the solar system and the spikes so that the materials can expand. If the tips are dismantled, the system remains undamaged.
- For older systems, outside the warranty period, the PV spikes can also be attached with screws. Please check first that there are no cables behind the frame
